We're confident that you will not need to return anything to us, but if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, we will refund or exchange any orders (as long as the goods have not been used, are not damaged and are in a re-saleable condition).

COLLAR DOESN'T FIT?  DON'T PANIC!

The most important thing for us here at Celtic Collars, is that your collar is absolutely perfect for your pet, so if when you receive your order it doesn't fit, then please get in touch with us and a replacement can be made.  If you do not require a replacement, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, and we do ask that you cover the postage costs incurred.

Please note, we cannot offer exchanges due to you not liking your choice of colours.

OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU

We work tirelessly to produce handmade dog collars of the highest standard, and as such offer a one year guarantee on all of our handmade collars should you need it. Of course, we're very confident that you won't need it, but if something should break then we'll repair or replace your collar free of charge.

That being said, there are some limitations. If the damage to the collar has been caused by being chewed or scratched to bits, we're not able to fix that, and as we cannot anticipate the wear a collar will be put through, the guarantee does not extend to the loss of shine or scratching to the surface of any metal hardware, or fabric destroyed by constant scratching/chewing but any repair resulting from a hardware failure will be taken care of. 

Celtic Collars are designed to be strong and durable, but that being said they should not be used in unsuitable situations. Care should be taken with larger dogs or those that are excessive pullers, biters or scratchers as it may cause damage to the collar. 

It is up to you the purchaser to determine what size and type of collar is suitable for your dog .

Celtic collars and leads can be hand washed at 30° ( a non bio is best for retaining the colour of the collar )  place inside a sock in the washing machine at no more than 30°, dry metal fixings with a cloth then leave to dry naturally (I just drape mine over a clothes airer or back of a chair etc.)

If subjected to sea water rinse as soon as possible to remove salt/sand dry metal buckles with a cloth and leave to dry naturally

It is always better to measure your dog to determin the accurate collar size as dogs just like humans  come in all shapes and sizes !

However the sizes below are averages for Breed. 

Choose a collar where you are able to adjust the size up and down by at least one inch to enable correct fit at all times. 

8 - 11 inches (width 16mm) :- Chihuahua, Toy Poodle, Mini Maltese, Pomeranian, Tea Cups, Mini Yorkshire etc

10 - 14 width (16 - 19mm) :- Mini Dachshund, Mini poodle, Small Pug, Small Cocker

12 - 16 inches :- Bichon Frise, Cavalier, Cavadoodle, Cocker Spaniel, Dachshund, Jack russel, Maltese, Mini Schnauzer, Shih Tzu, Scottish Terrier, West Highland White, Whippet

14 - 20 inches (25mm Wide)  :-  Beagle, English Staffordshire, French Bulldog, Kelpie,  Greyhound , Hungarian Vizsla Female, Collie

16 - 22 inches :- (25mm Wide)  Australian Cattle Dog, American Staffordshire, Border Collie, Bull Terrier, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Labradoodle, Standard Poodle, Vizsla Male

18 - 25 inches ( 25mm wide) :-  Boxer, Dalmation, Golden Retriever , Labrador, Weimaraner.

24 - 30 inches  (25mm - 38mm Wide) :-  Bernese Mountain Dog,  Great Dane, Masstiff, Rottweiler, St Bernard.
